Koelbel and Company, a third-generation Colorado company, stands as the longest operating family-owned real estate development firm in the region.

Responsible for developments throughout the state ranging from custom homes to master planned communities, commercial and retail spaces, urban infill projects and mountain resorts, we proudly deliver award-winning, environmentally responsible, technology forward solutions designed for future success that honor our guiding principle outlined by the late Walt Koelbel, who founded the company in 1952:

What sets us apart more than anything else is our ongoing commitment to our tenants for the long-term. Unlike many developers that build and sell their developments shortly after delivery, Koelbel works in partnership with our anchor tenants to ensure our master plan continues to meet their needs far into the future.

One of RiNo’s longest standing land owners and builders, L&M Capital has been family-owned and operated locally since 1968 when they first purchased 3150 Brighton Boulevard. Since that time they have purchased numerous other buildings and land in the area and are partners in both the Catalyst and Watershed projects.
